Cynthia J. Dodge is a Florida lawyer who has been an appellate attorney in the Tenth Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office since 1991.

She is a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and is admitted to the Bars of Florida and Massachusetts; to the Federal District of Massachusetts and the United States Supreme Court.

She frequently appears before the Florida Supreme Court and has previously briefed and argued the case of Florida v. Thomas, 532 U.S. 774 (2001) before the United States Supreme Court.

She is the single mother of a teenage son.
